Tracking parameters

When Remove tracking parameters is on in Settings > Advanced, Bouncer removes these parameters from every link before it opens. It is on by default. See Advanced settings.

The Tracking Parameters sheet

Edit Parameters… in Settings > Advanced opens the Tracking Parameters sheet. It has these parts:

• A filter field with the placeholder Filter parameters… and a clear button.
• One row per parameter, with a checkbox and the parameter name. The checkbox turns it on or off. Built-in parameters carry a built-in badge. Your own parameters are listed after the built-in ones.
• +, with the tooltip Add Parameter. It opens the Add Custom Parameter popover, which has a Parameter name field and Cancel and Add buttons.
• −, with the tooltip Remove Parameter. Enabled only when one of your own parameters is selected.
• A count label, N parameters, counting built-in and custom together.
• Done closes the sheet.

Bouncer also resolves short links from 20 link-shortening services before it removes parameters. Those services do not appear in the sheet.
