Links aren't routing at all

Bouncer is most likely not your default browser, so links never reach it. If it is, routing is paused.

Bouncer is not the default browser

Click the Bouncer icon in the menu bar. If the menu shows Set as Default Browser…, Bouncer is not the default browser.

1. Click Set as Default Browser….
2. Confirm the change when macOS asks.

The item changes to Default Browser ✓. See Set Bouncer as your default browser.

Caution

macOS may reset your default browser after an OS update. Check the menu bar menu for Set as Default Browser….

Routing is paused

While routing is paused, every link opens in your fallback browser and no rule is checked. The menu bar icon shows a pause symbol, and the menu shows Resume Routing.

1. Click the Bouncer icon in the menu bar.
2. Click Resume Routing. You can also press ⌘P.
